Most merchants meet ShopeePay through an aggregator gateway, but ShopeePay Malaysia also onboards merchants directly for wallet acceptance outside the Shopee marketplace. The direct product line is genuinely developer-shaped: hosted checkout, Link & Pay, recurring Subscription charging, Auth & Capture, and both customer- and merchant-presented QR, all over documented REST APIs.
The trade-off mirrors the TNG eWallet entry in this directory: it is one wallet, not a full gateway, and pricing is not published. Direct integration makes sense at volume, when per-wallet rates negotiated with the source can beat the aggregator’s blended fee; smaller stores will usually accept ShopeePay through whichever gateway they already use.
